Lamborghini Egoista is by far the most elusive concept car the automaker has ever produced.
It is quite unlike anything the Italian supercar maker has ever made.
It’s been over a decade since they unveiled the car, but the Egoista remains iconic to this day.

Lamborghini Egoista was first unveiled to a few select guests during a private party in 2013.
It was not a production model, but a concept car.
The automaker made the concept car to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
They never had any plans to sell it, so they went all out with their vision.

The Lamborghini Egoista looks like a fighter jet from the front.
Apparently, the automaker was inspired by the shape of the bull.
You can see how the concept car resembles a bull with its head down and horns pointing forward when looked at from the side.
It is certainly a good inspiration considering the Italian car logo, which was recently updated.
For now, the only way to own this car is to buy the entire company yourself.

The concept car is a one-seater with a fully removable canopy door.
The fully functioning model of the Lamborghini Egoista is based on the Gallardo.
According to the car’s designer Walter de Silva, the Egoista ‘represents hedonism taken to the extreme’.
So even the car’s name is quite fitting in this context.
As for its performance, it features a 5.2 L V10 engine producing 600 hp.

To enter and exit the car, the steering wheel must be removed, just like a Formula One car.
Just like a fighter jet, the body and wheels of the Lamborghini Egoista are made from anti-radar material.
It also has active aerodynamic panels (two rear flaps) that activate automatically at high speeds.
These panels also increase stability and optimum downforce.
Hopefully, the Italian automaker will release a similar car based on the Egoista in the future.
