This vintage Rolls-Royce was built in Springfield, Massachusetts, where Rolls-Royce had a factory from 1920 to 1931.
It was definitely a present worth remembering — but driving the same car for the rest of his life — that’s what makes Mr. Swift’s story so special.
His passion for this green-over-green soft-top convertible was unmatched to the point that he went beyond regular maintenance.
In 1988, he completely restored the car, changing its body parts and even restoring its engine, keeping this iconic piece in perfect condition.
After all, owning a classic car is easy, but maintaining and preserving such classic cars requires much effort.
Getting recognition for his possession

His long ownership of the car even earned him a title of the oldest living person to have owned the car from the time it was new.
