Airline passenger Paul Hutchinson has shared a rare sky POV of another plane in flight – and it’s pretty fast.
He spoke exclusively to Supercar Blondie about how he captured the footage while on a flight to the UK.
“We were flying from Corfu to Newcastle and, while over Austria, the captain mentioned we were cruising at 36,000 feet,” he began.
While enjoying the view from the cabin window he noticed another plane flying out of the window not too far away – although it’s not as close as you might think – and if you blink you’ll miss it.
“I’m not sure what I was expecting, but the speed with which the plane was moving looked so different to what you see from the ground, or what it feels like while in a plane. It’s quite an eye-opening perspective, seeing just how fast you’re potentially moving while in the air.”
