The footage of a Cessna making way for an Airbus A350 is surprisingly adorable.

The two aviation greats recently found themselves on the same runway at the same time.

Normally, this could be grounds for disaster.

But the Cessna effortlessly cleared the way, before the Airbus even had time to turn around.

When the Cessna met the Airbus

It’s not every day you see these two planes in the same space, as airports generally separate aircraft by size and type.

The Airbus A350 seats up to 440 passengers, while the Cessna 150 seats just two.

The single-engine Cessna is typically used for training and personal flying, while the Airbus is designed for long-haul commercial flights.

In the footage, the Airbus is seen making a slow and majestic turn on the runway.

The Cessna drives onto the runway as the A350’s back is turned, at which stage the pilot realizes they need to take action.

It heads upwards, requiring barely any runway for its takeoff.

By the time the plane is in the air, the Airbus is still only sideways behind it.

Two aviation greats on one runway

The Cessna 150 was produced between 1958 and 1977 and remains one of the most popular training aircraft ever built.

Reliable, simple and solid, its a legend in the aviation education world.

It’s the same model a YouTuber raced a Boeing 737 from Atlanta to Nashville in.

Meanwhile, the Airbus A350 is a distinctly modern aircraft, with its maiden flight taking place in 2013.

It serves many major airlines, including Qatar Airways, Emirates, and British Airways.

The A350 can be 242 feet long, which dwarfs the 23 foot Cessna.

To operate such a beast, an incredible cockpit is needed, and the A350’s looks like a spaceship.

Of course, seeing such an unusual and comical sight led to the internet making plenty of jokes.

“It is said that A350 is still turning,” one commenter said.

“Bro used less runway to take off than the other needs to turn around,” another commenter said.
