The 1993 Toyota Corolla owned by a seriously careful owner managed to reach 2,000,000 kilometers on the odometer.
This is a remarkable achievement, showing how dependable Toyota cars can be.
Graeme, who has used the car for his newspaper delivery job, drives about 5,000 kilometers every week from Wellington to New Plymouth in New Zealand.

Graeme Hebley’s Toyota Corolla hits 2.000,000kms
He got the car serviced every two weeks at Guthrie’s Auto Care, where they cared for it for over 22 years.
Graeme bought the car in 2000 when it had only done 80,000 kilometers.
Since then, apart from routine maintenance like changing the cambelt and wheel bearings, the car remains mostly unchanged with its original engine and transmission.

According to John Sherman from Guthrie’s, who has serviced the car for years, this kind of durability is uncommon.
“Toyota cars are built to last,” he said.
It’s not just Graeme who has proven the reliability of Toyota cars, there are others as well.
Liam Young drove his Toyota Land Cruiser for 16 years, covering an impressive 410,000 miles.
This dedication to their vehicles is why Toyota appreciates their loyal customers.
They even give maintenance perks and discounts as an appreciation, along with certificates of recognition to those who keep their cars for a long time.
As a Toyota spokesperson put it, “We value our customers who trust our cars for decades. It reflects our commitment to making durable and trustworthy vehicles.”
Graeme Hebley is amazed at how well his Corolla has held up.
“I never imagined it would last this long,” he admitted.
“It’s more than just a car, it’s like a part of the family now.”
