Taylor Swift’s cat has higher net worth than Travis Kelce

It’s no surprise that Taylor Swift has a higher net worth than her boyfriend.

While Travis Kelce is successful in his own right, Swift has recently transitioned to billionaire status.

That’s pretty hard to beat.

And it turns out there’s another Swift who out-earns him: her cat.

It’s a known fact that Taylor Swift is a cat person.

She often posts her feline friends on Instagram, most recently wearing one of them as a scarf on the cover of TIME magazine.

We’re unsure whether the cover cat, Benjamin Button, got paid for the shoot.

But one of Swift’s other cats, Olivia Benson, has been known to clear several cheques over her lifetime.

Last week the website Cats released its annual Pet Rich List, and Ms Benson was sitting at number three.

Swift adopted Benson in 2014, launching her fruitful online presence shortly after.

She sells merchandise with the cat’s likeness on it, including t-shirts, pens and stickers.

Benson went on to star in many of Swift’s music videos, including “Blank Space”, “ME!” as well as her documentary Miss Americana.

She made further earnings for her roles in adverts for brands like Diet Coke and Keds.

Today, Olivia Benson’s net worth stands at a whopping $97 million.

By comparison, Kelce is worth less than half of that.

The Super Bowl champion has a few lucrative endorsement deals to his name, including one with McDonald’s and another with Nike.

Then there’s his annual salary, which is around $14 million.

Currently, his net worth sits at a reasonable $40 million.

We’d keep that cat close if we were him.

While Olivia Benson is certainly the richest cat we know, it’ll still be a while before she catches up to her owner.

Swift is worth $1.1 billion, and with a record-breaking tour under her belt and a whole cruise ship being launched in her honor, her wealth isn’t slipping any time soon.
