The submerged Lamborghini Aventador
Unusual activities are just par for the course for Slav of SLAV’s ADVENTURES.
Describing himself as a ‘scuba driving expert’, he previously found a train wreck in a river.
He dons his wetsuit while magnet fishing with a friend when their magnet gets stuck to what they believe to be a Lamborghini supercar.
After confirming it with an underwater drone based on its distinctive wheels and logo, the content creator dives down to retrieve it.
Previously a separate viral Instagram post confused people when two Porsches were discovered submerged in a Florida pool.
Getting the supercar back to the surface
It wasn’t an easy task considering how deep down the car is and the damage caused to it.
The friends were ultimately forced to use a crane to lift the submerged Lamborghini out of the water.
They were correct in that it has suffered some pretty substantial damage either during an accident or simply from sitting underwater.
However, Slav remained as upbeat as ever and excited to take a closer look at their unexpected find.
The pair discovered one feature that they hadn’t expected: an Audi-branded steering wheel.
While both brands fall under the Volkswagen Group umbrella, it seems to suggest a nefarious past of the car either being stolen, disguised, or involved in a collision.
Alongside scratches, dents, and rust, Slav finds water inside the car and the fuel system, suggesting the supercar was submerged in water for a long time.
Worried that it’s affected the electrical and mechanical systems, Slav attempts to dry out the engine and electrical components.
