While this treasure trove of vintage Buick models is an automotive goldmine, its owner’s in-depth knowledge of each and every car in his collection makes it an even more special barn find
The collection was discovered in Schenectady, New York, in the USA.
Highlights include vintage Buick cars.
However, there are other carefully curated gems – from Pontiacs to Plymouths, and even a Triumph Spitfire.

The vintage Buick barn find
The collection, which is tucked away in New York State, was discovered by Parker of Backyard Barn Finds on YouTube.
At first glance, it’s a remarkable collection of rare classic cars.
While the star of the show is a range of vintage Buicks, other gems within the collection complement them.

From a 1969 Pontiac GTO, to a Triumph Spitfire, and a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner.
The cherry on top, however, has to be the owner, Scott’s, in-depth knowledge of every car and its past.
Meanwhile, this man had a huge stroke of luck when he found an iconic Buick LeSabre with barely any miles in a barn.

Scott begins by showcasing a rare 1972 Buick GS, finished in a GSX color scheme after a restoration decades before.
The car has a 455 engine, GSX spoilers, and painted headlight trim.
The firey red GS 350 convertible was of only 601 automatic models that ever rolled off the production line.
It boasts the one-year-only triangular Ram Air ducts, a detail introduced for California emissions standards, alongside a bench-seat interior, and rare NOS quarter panels used during restoration.
The centerpiece of the collection, though, has to be a Gulf Stream Blue 1i971 Buick GS Stage 1 convertible.

This shade was added to just 44 examples, plus its white bucket seat interior went to only two.
Untouched since 1980, it packs 500 pound-feet of torque and over 400HP.
A Levi’s Edition AMC Gremlin, 1969 Pontiac GTO (Judge Tribute) and Triumph Spitfire and 1976 Cadillac Eldorado were also noteworthy.
To bring this story up to date, Buick claims it’s only making EVs from now on.
