This YouTuber bought a $20,000 Japanese Rolls-Royce — a 2004 Toyota Century V12 — and instantly fell in love with it.

Now, you must be wondering how we can compare a Toyota to a Rolls-Royce.

Well, when it comes to this particular model, Toyota spared no expense.

It’s a car that is used by Japanese business moguls and top-level government leaders.

$20,000 Japanese Rolls-Royce — Toyota Century V12

James Engelsman from the Throttle House YouTube channel bought a 2004 Toyota Century V12 in 2022.

In a video showcasing the car, they also referred to it as a $20,000 Japanese Rolls-Royce.

And looking at the quality of the car, we don’t blame them.

Even the Emperor of Japan also uses a Toyota Century Royal, a special version of the luxurious sedan.

Equipped with a 5.0-liter V12 engine, the Century delivers smooth and quiet performance, focusing on comfort rather than speed.

Its subtle design prioritizes quiet elegance, reflecting a Japanese saying about humility.

The best luxury sedan from Japan

When James showed the car to his fellow co-host Thomas, he was left amazed at how comfortable and quiet it was.

According to Thomas, the Toyota Century V12 was also as quiet as a brand-new Rolls-Royce Phantom.

The best thing is that James got this impressive luxury sedan for a mere $20,000.

If he bought the new Toyota Century SUV, it would cost him the same as a new Bentley.

The Century has the only V12 in a series production car from Japan, and has some of the best quality paint on any car ever.

Only four people in the world are qualified to paint a Century, and that’s after years of working on other Toyotas.

Of course, it can’t compare to some of the most luxurious cars in the world or any modern Rolls-Royce.

But for $20,000, it is a banger of a car.
