Visiting the hidden Nevada aircraft graveyard

David Sparks, better known online as HeavyDSparks on YouTube, got a team together to collect some of the world’s coolest things from a hidden Nevada aircraft graveyard.

The hidden Nevada aircraft graveyard is run by a man called Rick who owns the whole collection and is looking to downsize.

David and his friends are more than happy to take some of his collection off his hands and were so sure they were going to find things they wanted to take with them that they brought three semi-trucks, two lowboys and a gooseneck trailer to transport all their new treasures home.

While looking through the collection, the YouTuber and his team find a Cobra, a Hemtt wrecker: a military bridge-building boat and even possibly an armored helicopter called a CH-46 Frog.

Going home with some of the world’s coolest things

The YouTube team threw around some ideas for using some of the decommissioned aircraft as tiny homes or giving them to museums to display.

Many of the aircraft and vehicles are not good for flying or driving so repurposing them means they don’t have to get scrapped.

In the end, the team went home with a MK48 Military Truck with a 60,000 lb winch, a Mark V Bridge-Building tugboat and various military parts and fuselages.

They made plans to return for more items as they were fully loaded up with their new treasures, but there was a lot more they wanted.
