Americans may find their most common questions about electric cars answered by the new Mercedes-Benz CLA sedan.
The German car company is bringing out its new sedan, and issues such as range anxiety could become a thing of the past for Americans.
There are still fears over the range of EVs, among some other issues that have perhaps held back sales of electric cars.
But the upcoming sedan may provide the answers for Americans, as they potentially step into the world of EVs for the first time.

The CLA sedan may eliminate range anxiety.
The new CLA EV is coming later in 2025, and Mercedes said it will offer the ‘longest range and best charging performance’ of any of its EVs.
Speaking to ABC News, Chief Technology Officer Markus Schäfer said those are the two most crucial elements for Americans.
Schäfer claimed the new CLA will be the most efficient Mercedes ever, and there is evidence to back that claim.

According to the company, the new EV will travel up to 500 miles on a single charge.
That would instantly eliminate any worries anyone had over range anxiety and their remaining battery.
But the biggest game changer could be its electrical architecture.
The new Mercedes has rapid charging available
Under the hood is an 800-volt electric architecture.
That means the CLA’s 48-volt battery could recharge up to 200 miles of range in just ten minutes.
Making the car even better for Americans is that DC fast charging is available up to 320 kilowatts (kW).

Schäfer said that this rapid charging stems from customers wishing EVs could charge as fast as a gasoline car.
The German also said that it is the vision for Mercedes that EVs can charge like gasoline cars.
In other words, very fast indeed!
