In a video that screams 2024, this Cybertruck driver has taken some heat for this video of him exiting his vehicle wearing the gadget of the moment: the Apple Vision Pro.
Having only dropped on 2 February, few have had the chance to test the Apple Vision Pro out yet.
Touted by the tech giant to be a “spatial computer” it “seamlessly blends digital content with the physical world”.
As he exits his behemoth of a vehicle, digital creator, Bryson LaMunyon (aka @thegrizz_), slams the door with both hands and the proceeds to walk away, throwing his hands around theatrically.
But certain details about the gadget that we do know have left social-media users questioning the video’s authenticity.
Like this POV video showing how the Apple Vision glasses work in public and how you can’t actually walk as LaMunyon does while using it – even in travel mode.
With the caption reading: “What is wrong with this generation…”, commenters were quick to concur.
“This is what I imagine iPad kids growing up to become,” one said.
“The thing that has everyone dunking on the guy exiting the Cybertruck aren’t the vision pros but the fact that he slams the door using both hands like a toddler would,” said another.
Spoiler alert: the video is satire.
“I’m pretty sure this dudes making fun of the people that have gone viral wearing it in public,” said one observant commenter.
