Dodge goes electric with Charger Daytona EV

Like almost every other car brand on the planet, Dodge is not immune to market changes.

Recently, there has been a massive spike in demand for hybrid/fully EV vehicles.

In a proactive approach, Dodge has decided to try and meet the change head-on.

That’s why, in 2024, the company announced the release of the Charger Daytona EV.

The American brand marketed the Daytona EV as the world’s first all-electric muscle car.

Unfortunately, Dodge faced some roadblocks with the Daytona EV, especially in popularity.

Charger Daytona EV left to Texas scrapyard

Just last week, an incredibly low-mileage Charger Daytona was discovered in a scrapyard.

People were left scratching their heads wondering why such a low-mileage, almost brand-new car would be abandoned.

As it turns out, we may finally have an answer to that question.

Apparently, the Charger Daytona EV crashed because of a stuck accelerator.

The photographs of the damage don’t exactly make for pretty viewing.

Aside from shattered headlights, the bumper was dislocated and the front splitter was damaged, too.

More than anything, it’s sad to see such a new muscle car damaged so soon into its life.
