The world’s first Novitec tuned Ferrari SF90 XX was revealed and it’s stunning

A SF90 tweaked for the racetrack, the Ferrari SF90 XX is proof that the prancing horse brand goes the extra mile to get the edge on its competitors – and this is the first model tuned by Novitec.

The road-legal race car boasts a bespoke set of NF11 forged wheels for the SF90 XX, with newly engineered springs and a completely redesigned exhaust system.

Each meticulously designed component was put there to enhance performance and push the boundaries of the XX closer to perfection.

The result: an even more visceral driving experience.

Novitec tuned Ferrari SF90 XX

The world’s first Ferrari SF90 XX tuned by Novitec saw the German tuner, which specializes in modifications for Italian luxury supercars, attempt to upgrade an already perfect machine as part of the XX Programme.

This constant pushing of boundaries was never intended for the road – until now.

“Introducing the Ferrari SF90 XX: a road-legal race car crafted for those who demand the extreme,” Novitec said.

Novitec developed a bespoke set of NF11 forged wheels for the SF90 XX, along with newly engineered springs and a completely redesigned exhaust system.

“Each component [was] meticulously designed to enhance performance and deliver an even more visceral driving experience,” the spiel continued.

Power upgrade

The result of the above tweaks is not to be sniffed at, with the engine output on the Ferrari SF90 XX increased from 986HP to a whopping via Novitec’s expert tuning.

Still powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors, the stunning supercar saw a performance boost from 0–62mph (0-100km/h) in a mere 2.3 seconds.

To top that, it has a top speed of 199mph (320km/h).

This is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission with revised software for quicker shifts.

Its suspension was lowered 20mm with sport springs for improved handling and aesthetics, with wheels fitted with NF11 centre-lock wheels by Vossen – 21″ front and 22″ rear, and a Novitec muffler for enhanced sound.

There have been minimal visual changes, as the stunning factory Ferrari design has been maintained with only subtle performance hints to avoid compromising the brand’s core identity.
