A Spanish woman is getting ready to marry the man of her dreams: an AI hologram.
It will be the first time a human has married something created by artificial intelligence.
She predicts relationships like this will soon become the norm.

Alicia Framis is a multidisciplinary artist from Barcelona, who has always had an interest in exploring unusual relationships through art.
In 1996 she lived with a mannequin, whom she called Pierre.
Now she’s created AiLix, an AI hologram that is based on several of her previous relationships.
Artificial intelligence is having a huge boom at the moment, and there seems to be no limit to what it’s capable of.
There’s the AI system that parks your BMW for you, without you even having to be inside the car.
Google has also launched its robot that performs household chores, from cleaning to cracking eggs and cooking.
Plus last year the world saw the first AI CEO make an appearance.
Framis notes that a lot of what we use AI for is science-based, but she sees a future where we are more emotionally connected to it.
There have already been reports of people falling in love with chatbots, but Framis is the first to take it to holographic levels.
She has released videos of her and AiLix on her Instagram, where they can be seen doing the mundane things couples do together like eating and cleaning.
Except AiLix appears noticeably more glitchy than his human girlfriend.
Famis is currently designing her dress for the big day, which will take place in Rotterdam this year.
“A new generation of love is emerging, whether we like it or not, in which humans will marry and maintain relationships with holograms, avatars, robots and so on,” she says.
She believes these will be a powerful tool for combatting loneliness.
