This is the new M700 Fury, a new aircraft built by ‘small’ aircraft specialist Piper.
It looks tremendous, and it’s also a lot faster than it looks.

The new Piper M700 Fury just received US certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), according to Piper Aircraft President and CEO John Calcagno.
And Calcagno also said this isn’t a one-off because it is only the first example of a new breed of aircraft, as the M-Class product line will be expanded.
The name M700 is a nod to the amount of horsepower it produces.
But even though some might say 700 hp doesn’t sound like much for a plane, the M700 Fury is actually the fastest single-engine plane ever made.
This is because it only uses one engine keeps the weight down.
The Piper M700 Fury only weighs 6,000 lbs – or 2,700 kg – which means it is actually lighter than a variety of different vehicles, trucks and cars, including the Cybertruck.
The Piper has a maximum cruise speed of 301 knots, which is equivalent to 557 km/h or 346 mph.
At the time of writing, the M700 Fury is only certified in the US, but Piper is working on certifications worldwide, which means deliveries in Europe, Canada, the UK and Brazil are expected before the end of the year.
There’s a growing interest towards private aviation.
Most people, even when they’re well-off, can’t afford to buy the gigantic private jets that Taylor Swift or Drake use.
However, smaller aircraft, especially if you’re willing to buy one second-hand, are less expensive, in the big scheme of things.
Not this one, though.
The Piper Fury is expected to debut with pricing starting at over $4 million.
