Saudi Arabia has shared official plans for the brand-new F1 track that looks straight out of a Mario Kart game.

The new track is located in Qiddiya City and will feature a total of 21 corners and 108 meters of elevation change.

Unfortunately, the new F1 track won’t be ready till 2027.

F1 has signed an agreement to race in Saudi Arabia until the end of 2030.

Saudi Arabian GP has been taking place on the Jeddah street track since 2021.

However, the new Qiddiya F1 track is expected to replace Jeddah on the F1 calendar.

The standout feature of the new racetrack is an elevated run-up to Turn 1.

The section is called ‘The Blade’ and peaks 108 meters in the air – the height of a 20-storey building.

It is not situated on top of a hill, but a man-made concert venue (How crazy is that?).

The main straight is also right next to the Six Flags Qiddiya City rollercoaster – pegged to be the world’s tallest and fastest rollercoaster once it’s ready. (Seriously?)

Fans will likely be flung next to Lewis Hamilton as he cruises in his new Ferrari to yet another unassailable lead.

The only thing missing from this ridiculous F1 track is a Mario Kart-style jump.

So far, Saudi Arabia’s new F1 track looks like something straight out of the movie Speed Racer.

Looking at the images, you will notice there aren’t any grandstands.

Instead, fans will watch the action from a viewing platform and see more of the F1 track from up high.

Looking at these computer-generated tracks one also wonders what future F1 cars will look like.

The new Saudi Arabia F1 track will be quite a sight to see and might become one of the most fan-favorite F1 racetracks ever.
