The Alice was the first all-electric passenger aircraft to take flight

Back in September 2022, the world’s first all-electric passenger aircraft by Eviation, the Alice took its first flight.

This aircraft, dubbed Eviation Alice, is not your ordinary plane. It’s special because it doesn’t need any fuel like traditional airplanes.

Yes, that’s right. It relies entirely on electric power to fly, just like the Xpeng X2 flying car which recently completed a cross-river flight.

The aviation industry is also stepping up to reduce its carbon footprint by introducing innovative solutions like the Eviation Alice.

This groundbreaking aircraft is also designed to carry nine passengers and two crew members.

Developed by Eviation Aircraft, the Alice is a result of years of hard work and dedication.

The company’s founders from Israel, Omer Bar-Yohay, Omri Regev, and Aviv Tzidon, wanted to create an aircraft that not only revolutionized air travel but also contributed to a sustainable future.

And voila! They did it.

The Alice is made of 95% lightweight composite materials, making it both an efficient and environmentally friendly aircraft, just like the Lockheed Ring Wing.

With a maximum cruise speed of 250 knots and a range of 250 nautical miles, the Alice is suitable for short-haul flights.

However, in the future, we can definitely expect the company to create better models with a longer flight range.

But the journey towards building Alice hasn’t been without challenges.

Eviation faced setbacks and delays, including a prototype fire in 2020.

However, despite these obstacles, the company persevered and successfully completed the maiden flight of the Alice, marking a significant milestone in the history of aviation.
