A man bought a dead Porsche SUV for $700 at a wholesale auction and it turned out to be the best purchase of his life.
The car was listed as not drivable and unstartable, and the sellers at the auction just wanted it gone.
However, the fix couldn’t have been any easier.
By the end, the car was also working normally and only needed a polish.

Dead Porsche SUV fixed relatively easily
Before buying the Porsche SUV, Sam who also has a YouTube Channel noticed the information screen showed two different error messages.
One photo showed an Ignition lock faulty error while another showed a brake proportioning error.
He instantly recognized what the problem was and bid on the car.
It cost him $700 plus taxes to buy the Porsche Cayenne S.
The tow driver showed up with the SUV but it was locked in Park and he had no idea how to unload it.
Fortunately, Sam googled a way to unlock it and roll it off the truck.
Fixing the car with just a wire
He also managed to start the engine which the ad said wasn’t possible.
However, it was only a workaround and not an actual fix so it was dead the following day.
Sam knew that older Porsche Cayenne S models had issues directly related to faulty wiring.
The floor of the Porsche SUV had some waterlogging problems, which had corroded a wire that was causing all the errors.
It seemed as if the car was a victim of flood.
After connecting the wire, most of the errors disappeared and the engine started up and idled smoothly.
All that was left were minor repairs, which Sam plans to fix with a budget repair.
However, with such a simple fix, the dead Porsche SUV is now worth ten times more.
This might be the best deal he has ever made.
